Welcome readers of iPhoneJD, ABA Journal, Jim Calloway’s Law Practice Tips Blog, The Mac Lawyer, and Legal iPad.

One year later, the iPad has found its way into law offices, judges’ chambers, and government agencies. It is more portable than a laptop, more functional than a smartphone, and for attorneys, the best device to stay organized during trial.

I have made several updates to the website, and more are forthcoming: (1) The “Getting Started Guide” now includes a section on transferring and storing documents, and (2) Legal Apps By Jurisdiction is almost complete and will be an ongoing project.
